Macabre Tales is the dominoes-based RPG of Lovecraftian horror that strips out the "contributions" of later authors and focuses solely on what Lovecraft himself created. It offers a brand new take on role-playing in the terrifying and abhorrent world of Howard Phillips Lovecraft. Will you emerge from the experience unscathed? Or will your mind snap in the wake of all the hidden abominations that lurk in the shadows, just out of sight of humankind? 

The game system was designed to match the meticulous, methodical pacing of HPL's stories, focusing on the investigative aspects rather than the more action-oriented aspects. It requires the players to make choices during the game that drives the narrative and leaves them constantly wondering if they should have saved that particularly effective domino for whatever it is that lies around the next corner.
